The cave of Los Franceses is located in the municipality of Revilla de Pomar, about 38 kilometers from Amaya.
It is so named because the bodies of French soldiers killed during the War of Independence (1808) were abandoned there.
The cave is equipped to receive tourist visits, which have a route of 500 meters. Since 2009, it has a pavilion for the reception of visitors.
