Welcome to Casa Rural el Hidalgo, a paradise in the middle of nature. A comfortable and cozy place where you can enjoy the best experience with family or friends at the foot of the Peña Amaya.
We present the Casa Rural El Hidalgo in Amaya, Burgos.
This comfortable rural tourism house, opened in 1999 and located in Amaya (Burgos) at the foot of the lora Peña Amaya (northwest of Burgos, between Palencia and Cantabria) is ideal for groups of 6/8/10 people.
You will find at your disposal 5 double rooms, each with individual bathroom, an enclosed garden and a free wifi connection.
Its living-dining room with fireplace offers a perfect place to relax after a day visiting Peña Amaya and its surroundings (waterfalls, mushrooms, hiking, mountain biking, Romanesque…).
You can prepare delicious recipes in the fully equipped kitchen or on the outdoor barbecue and then enjoy them around the dining table with seating for 10 guests or outdoors on the sunny porch over looking the garden.
Casa Rural El Hidalgo is a typical construction of the area with a wooden structure and framework, exposed beams and terracotta floor on the first floor.
All the rooms of the house have natural light.
It has a maximum capacity of 10 people, although it is also rented to smaller groups of 6 and 8 people, to which a reduced price is sometimes applied (see table of offers).
You will find 5 bright double rooms with individual bathrooms and all with exterior views. With a total of 8 beds, 2 of them double. Baby crib free of charge and on request.
Each of the 5 bathrooms is complete with toilet, sink, shower or bathtub, hair dryer and natural light (window).
4 bedrooms are on the upper floor and another one on the lower floor. This also with individual bathroom, is adapted for people with reduced mobility (if you need more information about the bathroom, do not hesitate to contact us).
The living-dining room has a fireplace (firewood included), books about the area, comics, stories, television and DVD player. You can bring your own material on CD, DVD or USB memory stick.
Free Wifi, satellite connection.
The kitchen is spacious and equipped with enough kitchenware, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine…
At the rear, the house has a patio with a sunny porch, a fenced grassgarden with trees and flowers, a well and a functional outdoor barbecue built with stone and iron (groups should bring the necessary charcoal and use the barbecue at their own risk).
Parking is available directly on the property, which has private outdoor parking.
Pets are allowed.
Delivery and collection of keys at the gîte: the owner will be at your disposal for the delivery / collection of keys, information about the gîte and the area ; and for any eventuality that may arise.
Price list as of 01/01/2025.
The maximum price for the rental of the cottage is 300€/day.
