Fabulantis is an interactive comic interpretation center.
In Villadiego lived and died the cartoonist Ángel Pardo, known mainly for being the author of about three thousand pages of the comic strips of El Capitán Trueno. He was born in the town of Santoña, in 1924, starting in the world of drawing in 1943. In 1959 he launched his first collaboration with El Capitán Trueno. He spent his last years in Villadiego, his mother’s hometown, where he died in 1995.
The Comic Museum (Fabulantis Interpretation Center) is a place where children can give free rein to their imagination and create whatever they can think of through drawings and games. It is located in the building of the old slaughterhouse, at Calle del Puente Romano Nº2, 09120 Villadiego (Burgos).
